Group BTS's second full album "WINGS" reached 350,000 sales in the first week.
According to Hanteo Chart that counts the album sales, 347,426 copies of BTS's second full album "WINGS" which released on 10th were sold. As a result, BTS ranked #1 on the Album Weekly Chart for the 3rd week of October (October 10~16th).
The figure is 4 times the first week sale of their "HYYH pt 2" (86,000 copies) which released last November. It's twice compared to the first week sales of their special album "HYYH Young Forever" (160,000 copies) which released last May. This is where BTS proves their explosive growth of popularity in the last 1 year.
Previously "WINGS" attracted attention when its pre-order reached 500,000 copies. During the pre-order period before the official release of the album, the online record store Synnara temporarily out of stock. Even after the official release of the album, number of record stores in Korea faced shortage of album. The album received enthusiastic responses.
